Almost two years ago, the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation came to our aid with a financial grant for our daughter's extraordinary medical bills that was a huge gift to us.  Never mind that Del Miskie from Penn State had been gently encouraging me to apply for help for more than two years before that.  She was even so kind as to get me the application for the process.  Or that Wendy Evenden from the local Buffalo AOII Chapter had been doing the same.  Some of us are slow to accept help.  Because our story is so public, I had told the AOII Foundation when I accepted their help that if they wanted to use our story as a recipient of the AOII Ruby Fund or to exemplify what the money raised by the AOII Foundation is used for that they had my permission.  So, earlier this month I needed help getting some pictures taken for the AOII Foundation as they use our story to promote the type of things that they do.  To the Rescue Nick DeMarchi!!

So here is a big thank you to Nick for his generosity in helping me meet the request of the AOII Foundation for a few pictures.  This should also make a few of my friends happy who have been asking me to post pictures!  I only put up two pictures out of many.  Will that pacify some of you for a bit?  Thanks again Nick!!  And thank you also to the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation for their help in our hour of need!
