The reason that I have put so many free recipes, tip sheets, white papers, and over 40 videos on my youtube.com channel - the super allergy girl channel - is to help people make the right decision when purchasing a gluten-free or food allergy cookbook.
Not all gluten-free cookbooks are the same. In fact several of the cookbooks marketed today as "gluten-free" actually contain gluten in the form of barley, barley malt, spelt, and kamut. These ingredients are not gluten-free. Some food allergy cookbooks say on the cover that they are "free of eggs, milk, dairy, corn, wheat, soy, peanuts and tree nuts" when in fact some of the recipes contain ALL of these ingredients. What the cover should say is "you will find a few recipes free of eggs, and a few free of milk, and a few free of peanuts..." but not ONE recipe will be free of all of these ingredients. Hard to believe? I know it is hard to believe.
To me customer satisfaction is critical. I may not be able to get companies that I buy from to give me good customer satisfaction, but I can sure work to give it to my customers. I'd love to hear your comments as ususal!
