After devouring "Outliers", I went to my bookshelf where I had an unread copy of "Blink", which I believe is Malcolm Gadwell's second book. I was giddy with delight. It was equally wonderful for the very same reasons. I have used his concept of "thin-slicing" at least once in talking to someone since finishing "Blink". Earlier this week I received a copy of "The Tipping Point" for my birthday. I am looking forward to spending some time reading it this weekend, which means I will most likely finish it. Have you read any of Malcolm's books? Do you have any comments to share? I have to admit here that I am NOT the avid book reader. I almost never read novels. It has been years since I picked up a novel. What that means is that a book had better be gosh-darn interesting, so good you can't put it down, and have some value that it can add to my life - otherwise it is on the shelf gathering dust.
I can't wait to do a mini paper on the topic of Mastery, but that will have to wait because I have started a 90-Day National Media campaign with PRWeb Press Releases. Time is flying by...Let me know what you are reading these days and what books you recommend.
Love,
Lisa
