Welcome to my new blog: The Rooster Crows™, which also happens to be the name of my business. This blog is all about waking individuals and businesses up to their full potential on a wide range of business topics from time management and organization to motivation and inspiration. I'll also be blogging about public relations and publicity and technology and many other related topics. What is exciting to me is that this new blog represents a leap in my technological skills. I have been blogging for two years. What I have never done up until now is create my own blog from scratch. My other blog is about food, health, food allergies, celiac disease and other cooking and baking topics. You can find my first blog, which I am still actively updating at: www.TheSuperAllergyCookbook.com
I'm working on bringing up a new website under the same name. How are your technical skills? Are you blogging, on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter? Are you swimming in a swirl of technical terms and feeling like you need some air? I am learning and growing in this area although it seems like slow growth to me. If you are interested in the social networking, blogging and podcasting technical arena, I highly recommend a book by David Meerman Scott called "The New Rules of Marketing & PR" (subtitled: How to use news releases, blogs, podcasting, viral marketing & online media to reach buyers directly). It is an excellent book that provides a good solid foundation for people who are relatively new to the whole mecca of technology when it comes to business.
With practice anything new will become old hat. Wax on, wax off. Practice, practice, practice. What jobs, tasks, or projects are you avoiding because you lack a skill, a tool or some assistance? How can I help you? What do you have to say on this subject? I'd love to hear what you have to say, and that we create a community to inspire and motivate eachother!

I'm adding a picture because I think that it helps with the blog. I'll explain that in more detail later. Here is a favorite picture of me with my children. One of a precious few.
